Cultivating Great Students Into Outstanding Citizens!
The admin at my new school came up with a creed that we recite each morning. At first it seemed cult-like, but then I started seeing the benefits. No matter what grade a student is in or where they go throughout the building, they know what is expected of them. Building classroom community with Dr. Jean! :)
I found another awesome activity that relates to teambuilding and classroom community. Dr. Jean posted this one named "Kind Hearts." I can't wait to do it with my class next week! Click the picture below to check out Dr. Jean's activity!

Teambuilding and Classroom Community Activity!
My guidance counselor at my new school showed me the coolest way to promote teambuilding and community within the classroom. You start with the teacher's name. From there, each child adds their name to the poster. The catch is you have to write your name using a letter from another classmate. Here's an example:
Isn't that adorable?! I had never seen this before. Even if you get new students, they can add their names! And then you can hang it on your wall to remind students that we're all in this TOGETHER! :) Enjoy! Off to a Falcons game! Rise up!
